Why Collagen Induction?

What is Collagen Induction?
At Sukh Beauty Skin Clinic we perform Microneedling or Sonophoresis Collagen Induction treatments to boost your collagen by 0.5 to 1.5mm. Minimally invasive as a skin rejuvenation treatment, its primary focus is to improve the appearance of scars, fine lines and wrinkles on the face and body.
What is Sonophoresis?
At its core Sonophoresis uses the power of soundways to create micro-channels or tunnels between skin cells to the application of active ingredients to penetrate further into the epidermis into the dermis.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling in essence is a cosmetic treatment done to encourage your body to produce collagen through the healing process and this is done by pricking the skin with tiny sterilized needles. The idea behind microneedling is to improve the appearance and texture of your skin. To help with this process, active solutions containing collagen, vitamins and other beneficial ingredients are applied and penetrate the deeper layers of the skin through these tiny channels, to maximise the benefits.
Are there side effects to Collagen Induction?
Collagen Induction when performed properly by a trained technician should have minimal risks or side effects. However things to note would be you may find some scab formation as well as dryness of the skin at the treated area. There may be some hyper-pigmentation or milia visible after treatment.
Who is Collagen Induction for?
Collagen induction treatments are eligible for a wide variety or skin types, if you’re unsure if this is something you think you would benefit from you can always get in touch with us to see if its the right fit for you.
