The EpilaDerm Enzyme Complex is applied to the skin in two phases directly after root-deep hair removal with waxing.

The two-phase gel system, consisting of the enzyme complex and the accelerator, penetrates deep into the exposed hair follicles and ensures that the growth cells of the hair are deprived of the basis for growth over time. The hair becomes thinner, lighter, softer and less from application to application.

In addition, the EpilaDerm Enzyme Complex moisturises, cools and soothes the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect.

Are EpilaDerm treatments good for all skin/hair types?

Yes, EpilaDerm treatments can be done on all types of hair colours, skin colours and hair types.

Are there any post treatment skin care requirements?

No! There are no other post-epilative skin care requirements necessary.

How does it work?

The EpilaDerm enzymes work most effectively when the hair is removed using a deep root process. That can be waxing or surgaring. After deep root epilation the hair follicle is exposed and the the remaining hair cells in the follicle are open for the EpilaDerm enzyme application. - First your hair is removed using a deep-root process. (Waxing/Surgering) - The Enzyme Complex (phase 1) is then applied to the skin and massaged thoroughly for one minute. - The Accelerator (phase 2) is then applied and massaged thoroughly for one minute as well. - The active system penetrates to the bottom of the hair follicle and dissolves the remaining hair growth cells for about 10 minutes.

Approximately how much reduction in hair will there be?

This can be person dependent but with consistent treatments there can be a reduction of about 25%. The amount of reduction of hair can increase past this number with more treatments.

Is EpilaDerm a one session treatment?

Everyones hair growth and follicles are different, for optimal results we do recommend multiple treatments and this is something we can discuss with you at your appointment.
