The biggest benefit to threading especially with regards to eyebrow threading is that threading is a precise treatment that yields great results especially in smaller areas. Threading is quite a quick treatment and although there is some pain involved it is far less than that of waxing and is described by some as a ‘dull’ pain.

How is Threading done?

In essence it is using very thin twisted cotton thread which is rolled over hair follicles in a quick motion which removes the hairs from their pores.

What Materials are used in Threading?

The best type of thread used in threading is a 100% cotton thread. Cotton is gentler on skin and has a good amount of grip to hold onto unruly pieces of hair.

Does Threading irritate the skin?

Post treatment there may be some light irritation or bumps from having the hairs pulled out, having a gentle skincare routine after or using soothing gel such as aloe vera can help with this. Any irritation from threading should be fairly mild in most cases.

Is Waxing or Threading better?

Each treatment can yield different results so this can come down to personal preference, generally speaking because threading is using a tool which is much smaller than waxing the treatment can be a lot more precise and accurate while also being less painful than waxing.

How long can Threading Results Last?

Threading results can last anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on the hair type of the individual, and how fast the hair grows back.
